No, a makeup trial isn't essential. Some brides appreciate it as a way to feel reassured or to see their look in advance, but it remains optional. A prior conversation about your preferences and style allows me to create a tailored makeup look that's true to what you want on the big day.

The makeup trial lasts on average between 1 and 1.5 hours. This time allows us to discuss your preferences and carry out a complete, personalised look.

On the wedding day, you should allow around two hours for hair and makeup, plus an extra half hour as a buffer in case of delays or if it takes longer than expected.

You can come with makeup on, but it's recommended to arrive with a clean, makeup-free face. Removing makeup just before the session can sometimes irritate the skin and eyes.

The makeup trial is paid on the day of the appointment, in cash or via TWINT.

Frequently Asked Questions About Bridal Hair

The questions my brides ask me most often about hair. Can't find the answer? Write to me.

To ensure the best possible result, I work with hairstylists who specialise in wedding hair. For intimate events and simple styles (half-up, natural looks) I can also do the hair myself alongside the makeup. For larger weddings, I work alongside professional hairstylists, dedicating myself entirely to makeup.

If you'd like, I can put you in touch with my hairstylist collaborators. They'll be able to advise you and guide you toward the style best suited to your wishes, your hair and your overall look.

It's recommended to do the trial in spring, before the summer wedding season, in order to take advantage of better availability.

Yes, it's entirely possible to add extensions for the big day. However, you'll need to provide them yourself. I'd recommend choosing them together with your hairstylist so they match your hair perfectly. My hairstylist collaborators will then be able to incorporate them into your style on the day.

Ideally, hair should be washed the day before the wedding. On the day itself, it simply needs to be clean and fully dry. If you feel the need, you can straighten it or style it lightly, but this isn't recommended — it's better to arrive with natural hair, as we'll take care of everything on site!
